When recovering a piece of furniture try and choose a fabric design that is in keeping with the original style of the piece.
For example, a traditional piece of furniture may look inappropriate if covered with a modern design of fabric.
In addition to design consider the durability of the fabric. If it is going to be subjected to a lot of use, then make sure that the
fabric is robust enough to last.
